National Express Moving

SCAMMERS BEWARE: There are many companies out there that are scammers, please beware! Do not and I repeat do not deal/call with National Express Moving Company, address is 1711 Worthington Road, West Palm Beach, Fla, phone number is 1833-205-4724 for moving services, they are horrible to deal with and will take your money and run. I have been dealing with this company since November 29th, 2021 to refund my monies of over 1000.00 dollars with several emails/ phone calls for a service that they have not rendered. I have received nothing but lies from Susan Kay, manager in regards to my funds.

This company has done nothing legal, moral or ethical according to the contract. Please people pay attention and spread this information far and wide, I can backup up any/all information that is asked of me. If you are aware of any legal attorneys that would like to work on this case please IM me. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1250

Will NEVER RECOMMEND called me to give quotes and estimate Donald Dugan had no issues getting a hold of me to get my payment to book the move, said over the phone they would be here on the 15th fine that's great, got moved to the next day.. then the next was told all the while I would receive calls those days, I call for two hours straight keep getting ahold of Clark who just tells me to stop calling and call another number to which I get a text saying they can't talk but how may they help. And that me mentioning calling none stop is "funny we don't have any missed calls". Mind you from a entirely different number, I inquire about the movers arrival time and if they are sure about it because now they don't seem reliable at all to which brad had emailed me and said a time and that if I wanted to opt out they would gladly provide me with a refund, I emailed later and requested a refund as they mentioned before they would be "more than happy" no response, texted brad he reads the messages no replies ITS BEEN TWO DAYS I keep texting and calling and emailing none stop. WARNING PEOPLE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GHOST YOU, unprofessional and unreliable as a company I have ever came across they should be ashamed. People READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND THE MOST RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY IVE EVER BEEN IN BUSINESS WITH, THEY ARE A JOKE AND LIERS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: £490

I hired this company to move our family belongings from CA to FL. The service rep Josh and later Brian were responsive when it was time to make a sale. When no one came for pick up, I didn't even get a call. A couple of days later a different company (sub-contractor) showed up TRIG Moving and Storage who was subcontracted. Items ended up not leaving Los Angeles for weeks. TRIG has 1.2 Stars on Better Business Bureau.

Then I couldn't get an update on deliver date. Had to keep calling every couple of days to hear that we are contacting the driver. When Items were delivered, lots of boxes were torn or open. Several boxes never made it. We lost monitors, Herman Miller chair, two boxes of premium wine, and a box of my wife's expensive jackets and dresses.

I never write reviews, but this definitely deserves. Do not use either of these companies if you care for your stuff. Both should not be in business.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3400

We requested a move from Detroit to Arizona. I was given a quote based on an itemized list. The list was very detailed and included every line item. I was asked to pay 1/3rd deposit and I did. On the moving day - the movers show up(they are a different company). The moving company stated that the cubic feet calculation was totally incorrect and National express may have made a mistake. I received a call from National moving company and the supervisor Susan called me out for not sharing information accurately and being un-approachable to the moving crew which is why she was calling me(At this time moving crew was inside my home sipping water and chatting away!) And then she says that it is very comfortable to play the victim card! By the end of the day - they were unable to load the truck! The movers told me that the itemization was correct and no item was large(they were all on the smaller side) so NATIONAL came up with a quote to please a customer and get a deposit! National keeps the deposit and they are just brokers and not an actual moving company. BEWARE

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4449

National Express Moving is a scam. As a broker, they hire external moving companies who can double your cost by lying about your cubic footage. Then you can’t get out of it or else you‘ll lose your deposit.

For my move on 4/26/20 they hired Out of State Movers to execute my move from Dallas, TX to Chicago, IL. When the movers came to my apartment they claimed that I needed to pay for an additional $1400 worth of space despite my detailed, accurate inventory staying EXACTLY the same as reported by National Express on my estimate.

Out of State Movers were dramatically dishonest about the cubic footage that my items occupied and National Express claims that it isn’t their fault because they didn’t change my price, their movers did. National Express hired this company to come into my home and scam me out of $1400. “Brad” from National Express (who suspiciously doesn’t share his last name) reimbursed me $100, which I felt was completely insufficient. He told me he would reach out to the movers they hired to resolve the situation, but then promptly stopped answering my calls or returning my messages.

Note the scathing reviews on yelp for this company. They’re not accredited with BBB and the reviews there are scary, not to mention National Express is totally unprofessional in their response. Do not trust these people with your money, belongings, or time. This was a lesson for me to avoid brokers in general, and to do way more research to avoid businesses like this in the future.

Worst experience of my life, I wish I could go back 2 months and change everything. The movers they sent did not even check the inventory list, were only concerned with raising the quote, which they did. After they take your stuff, they are your masters and can do ANYTHING they want show up when they want, or not show up, lie (which they did), fight/yell with you over the phone and charge you fees for their OWN delays. Completely unprofessional, the lady on the phone is just pathetic. She talks well before you hand over the money, and after that anything is fair game. The movers also broke my things and the money being offered for all that is pathetic. Please do NOT let these people come into your house and don't sign any contracts for them.

Don’t believe the good reviews on here that are obviously fake. (And they’re all posted within 2-3 days of each other).

They’ll give you a good quote just to reel you in and get your deposit. Once they have your money, customer service goes out the window. They’ll dodge your calls, not keep you updated on where your stuff is or when/if you’ll ever get it. Lots of people have lost thousands of dollars and irreplaceable items to this company.

Please save yourself the time and money and stress. This company just takes your money to steal all your stuff. You’re literally paying them to rob you.

Our move with National Express moving was a disaster. While the company, specifically sales representative John D., was responsive at first, I had a lot of difficulties communicating with the company when I had questions or needed to update our move. At one point, I tried calling 6 times in one day, only to be redirected to the voicemail box of "Susan K." no matter which extension I dialed. It was only when I floated the idea of finding a new moving company that I received a response. The moving company that this broker service paired us with was horrendous, and many of our items came to us broken or damaged. I wouldn't trust them to pair you with a moving company that would actually take care of your items. Because of our experience with this broker and our experience with the movers, my family will no longer be using professional moving services for our future moves. We will be better off packing our things in a U-Haul and driving ourselves.

National Express Moving provided excellent service during a very stressful time. They clearly state their prices set expectations up front and then follow through. The movers themselves are always hard working and responsible. We moved my parents out of a large house, and they were courteous, careful, and had regard for all their personal belongings. In fact, they completed what should have been a 2 day move in one day, we had a great move and we are recommending it as well.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5137

National found a shipper, Orbit (NC), then did not respond thereafter when I called several times and emailed for assistance. The shipper did not communicate when they would pick up or deliver. I needed National’s help and advice but got none. They collected the $821 fee for finding a shipper, then left me hanging. “We will surpass your expectations in both quality of service and productivity… we guarantee your satisfaction.” They did not meet minimum needs and refuse to credit any refund.
